Visual art is all about expressing ones feelings, thoughts, creative skills and imagination in a visual form. It also provides the needed skills, attitudes, values, insight and understanding needed to enable students to succeed in their daily lives; emphasizing on development and the use of artistic knowledge.

The subjects in visual arts are designed with the country’s development in mind. The materials used in the visual art course ensures that students who go through the course emerge as people who will be able to care for themselves, their families and contribute effectively to the development of their countries. Furthermore, the lesson have been designed to give psychomotor training in addition to cognitive and effective training to the student so that he/she will not regard working with his/her hands as less intelligent or less fortunate persons.
