The Home Economics programme was introduced in this school before the inception of the senior high programme. The rationale for the programme is to equip students with academic knowledge as well as life skills that will make meaningful contribution to their lives. The department is manned by five (5) able and dedicated teachers namely; Mrs. Buckman (Head of Department), Mrs. Theodosia Emelia, Mrs. Georgina Abiiwa, Mrs. Leticia Padiri Oduro, Mrs. Ellen Adjeiwaa Adams and Mrs. Linda Akosua Achiaa. The department has the population of four hundred and seventy (470) students out which two (2) are boys. The following subjects are pursued in the department;

1. Food and Nutrition,
2. Clothing and Textiles,
3. Management in Living,
4. Chemistry,
5. Biology and
6. General Knowledge in Art.
